BasicCard: Programmable Smart Cards
The BasicCard series of CPU smart cards has been developed to make smart cards a real and practical option for developers by reducing the unit card costs and eliminating much of the need for specialist and proprietary smart card knowledge.Available Cards: - BasicCard Advantages: -

- Directory-based, DOS-type file system. Direct access by host to card files controlled by card application and can be encryption dependent.
- Single and triple DES built in to Enhanced Basic Card
- Shrinking generator encryption for Compact cards
- Elliptic public key encryption library available for Enhanced cards.
- RSA public key encryption to be available with the Professional BasicCard
- Command & response encryption between card and host
